Richard Grundler has generously created a 4-year scholarship worth a total of $40,000 to be awarded annually to a Teton High School Latino Senior in good standing who has been accepted to an out-of-state university. The Community Foundation’s Nonprofit Workshops provide a benchmark for best practices while creating opportunities for nonprofit leaders to network and collaborate. With an understood need for physical capacity, the Community Foundation remodeled our office to accommodate a Nonprofit Community Space for local organizations to hold board and donor meetings in January 2020. In each grant cycle, thoughtful committees are tasked with weighing the breadth and impact of each project that’s funded. $500 – Teton Valley Youth Lacrosse Association Youth Philanthropists partially funded new helmets for the Teton Valley Youth Lacrosse Association’s upcoming season this spring in order to keep up with their growing program. These funds will help augment their gear rental package for boys and girls in the program. Modern lacrosse helmets protect against concussions from stick, helmet, and ground impacts. $1,000 – Seniors West of the Tetons Youth Philanthropists at Teton High School fully funded the purchase of 200 reusable to-go meal containers for Seniors West of the Tetons’ Home Delivered Meal program.
