B on 33: Beautifying Our Byway with Native Wildflowers

There’s a new bloom on the horizon in Teton Valley.  B on 33: Beautifying Our Byway, a nonprofit initiative committed to transforming the scenic Highway 33 corridor between Victor and Driggs, Idaho, into a vibrant tapestry of native wildflowers. This 8-mile stretch—roughly 100 acres of roadside land—will soon become not only more beautiful, but also a vital habitat for native pollinators like bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Why Wildflowers? The idea is simple: beauty and biodiversity go hand in hand. Native wildflowers…

When Life Throws a Curveball

Life is rarely a linear experience. We all experience highs when we feel on top of the world, and lows when everything seems to go wrong. Financial strain can hit hard, making it feel impossible to keep up. Something as common as a sports injury can instantly throw a curveball in someone’s life and trigger a downward financial spiral if it prevents them from working. This is exactly what happened to a hard-working Teton Valley community member, who found the strength to…

Community counts! Young life of Teton Valley

We make Teton Valley awesome by providing middle and high school students with mentors, spaces, and events so they can live life to the fullest! In a recent study, Young Life learned that over 40% of Gen Z kids say they feel unloveable. We have made it our aim to…

Where the Wild Things Are

The arrival of an invite to attend an Earthfire Institute first Monday Creative Session and Potluck left me feeling both honored and apprehensive.  Admittedly I wasn’t all that clear on their mission – but I knew that they had several  “wild” animals on site, including grizzly bears, wolves and other species of my childhood nightmares. Turns out my issues with fear made me the ideal candidate to learn more about their organization. The local, misguided scuttlebutt I had heard included…
