The Community Foundation of Teton Valley welcomes all Teton Valley nonprofits to apply for a grant through the 2014 Youth Philanthropy program. In its third year, the Youth Philanthropy program empowers students in Teton High School’s Dual Immersion Government class to thoughtfully review applications from local nonprofits, learn from representatives in from the nonprofits who promote their programs, and award $3000 to local charities.
Applications must be submitted to info@cftetonvalley.org by this February 28 at 5pm. Youth Philanthropy details and application can be found at https://cftetonvalley.org/nonprofits/youth-philanthropy/.
Grants from $500 to $1000 will be awarded by the students in April. The Youth Philanthropy program is a great way to raise awareness of the importance of our local nonprofits and the needs in our community.
Youth Philanthropy grants are made possible through the generosity of donors to the Tin Cup Challenger Fund. For more information or to make a donation to the program, contact the Community Foundation at info@cftetonvalley.org or by calling (208) 354-0230.
