The Teton Valley Foundation works to make the good life in Teton Valley even better through cultural and recreational programs that connect the community and boost the economy, such as Music on Main, the Kotler Ice Arena, and Cutthroats Youth Hockey.
The Tin Cup Challenge helps us each year to continue achieving this mission. We rely on the Tin Cup Challenge contributions to cover operating expenses like ice rink staff, Zamboni maintenance, sound production at concerts, and band costs. This support allows us to continue to be able to provide the great programs that make our good life even better.
The Teton Valley Foundation is all about community.
As we kick off summer, we are excited to enjoy a Teton Valley staple—Thursdays at Music on Main! Almost 3,000 people join us at Victor City Park each week—a truly remarkable feat in a Valley of 10,000. Most of us arrange our summer schedules around Thursday nights to connect with friends and catch up with neighbors to let kids run around in a family-friendly space; and to make new friends and feel a connection to what makes Teton Valley so special.
Gathering our community for positive connections is what we are all about: Building opportunities for us to celebrate; embracing what makes this place so incredible.
Teton Valley Foundation serves a need in our community. A need for us to come together. A need for us to enjoy life to the fullest.
Though Tin Cup occurs in the summer, its impact on Teton Valley Foundation lasts throughout the year. Tin Cup donations help support Kotler Ice Arena, an essential community recreation facility. Teton Valley Foundation runs winter programming, including skating lessons, youth hockey and adult recreational programs. In a valley with such long and hearty winters, the Kotler Ice Arena provides a place for users to recreate safely and gather with friends both new and old.
We believe that the friendships made at music or on the ice are essential links in our community. Bringing people together is what we do. When we come together, our community gets stronger. With your help during this year’s Tin Cup, we can continue to thrive in our mission of making the good life in Teton Valley even better.
