The Community Foundation of Teton Valley would like to extend an invitation to the 8th Annual Tin Cup Challenge Awards Party on Monday, August 24, 2015 to all participating Teton Valley nonprofit staff, board members, volunteers and donors. Held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Wildwood Room in Victor, the Tin Cup Challenge Awards Party offers those supporting the local nonprofit community an opportunity to gather together in celebration of another successful Tin Cup Challenge campaign.
“The Community Foundation of Teton Valley is deeply grateful for the unparalleled generosity of our community. The dedication to improving lives through the power of generosity found in Teton Valley is certainly unique and we want to take this opportunity to shine a light on the incredible work being done by the people and organizations supporting and serving our community,” says Carrie Mowrey, Executive Director of the Community Foundation.
As part of the 8th Annual Tin Cup Challenge Awards Party, representatives from each participating nonprofit will be presented with a check for the money raised during the 8th Annual Tin Cup Challenge, including the matching gifts generously provided through donations to the 2015 Challenger Fund. According to Dawn Banks, Community Foundation Communications and Events Director, “This is truly an evening to celebrate; the staff and board members of participating nonprofits serving our community, the volunteers who dedicate their time to help make the Tin Cup Challenge such a huge success and the donors whose generosity during the Tin Cup Challenge giving campaign provides the much-needed funding for the critical work of nonprofits serving Teton Valley.”
The Tin Cup Challenge, hosted annually by the Community Foundation of Teton Valley, includes a nine-week giving campaign capped by a day of community celebration. For many participating nonprofits, the Tin Cup serves as their biggest annual fundraiser, providing an efficient and effective method for raising funds while allowing resources to be more fully focused on programs and services that further each organization’s mission. In just 7 years, the event has raised over $7 million for Teton Valley nonprofit organizations.
The Community Foundation hopes to see you on Monday, August 24, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM at the Wildwood Room in Victor as we celebrate the success of the 8th Annual Tin Cup Challenge! Delicious food and beverage will be provided by Dining In Catering.
