There are two ways to give during the Tin Cup Challenge. During this 9-week giving period, you can donate to the Designated Nonprofit Fund, the Challenger Fund or both.
Choose to donate to the Designated Nonprofit Fund and 100% of your donation goes to the designated nonprofits of your choice during the giving period. Your gift provides unrestricted funding to promote and support the charitable mission of each participating nonprofit. Designated nonprofit funds received during the giving period are given directly, in-full to the participating nonprofits of your choice with the simplicity of a single payment to the Community Foundation of Teton Valley. Additionally, these funds will be matched by the Challenger Fund.
Accept the challenge by giving $1,000 or more to the Challenger Fund in support of Teton Valley nonprofits and our community at large. In this way, Challengers provide funding to cover all associated costs of the Tin Cup Challenge, including the giving period and the Event Day Celebration. This fund also provides matching grants for all participating nonprofits and the money they bring in during the giving period. Additionally, the Challenger Fund is the source of funding for the Community Foundation of Teton Valley’s Grant & Youth Philanthropy Programs. Challenger funds are continually re-invested into our community through the niche functions and services provided by our local nonprofits – serving the community at large, in a fast focused fashion. Challengers are publically recognized for their generous contributions during the giving period.
Join the community in this team effort to support Teton Valley’s nonprofits, so that they might continue to support our community. This year as we celebrate 10 years of generosity, consider coming to the starting line as a donor, Challenger, volunteer or runner. With one in four Teton Valley households contributing, you don’t want to be last across the finish line! Donate through July 21st at www.tincupchallenge.org or stop by in person at the Community Foundation of Teton Valley in our new location at 189 N. Main, suite 112.
