[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Tin Cup Challenge provides a full cup of critical funding for Teton Valley nonprofits on an annual basis. Donations made during the 9-week Tin Cup giving period are completely unrestricted funds to be used by each organization in the most strategic way possible. This freedom means that Tin Cup donations and matched funds account for a significant portion of local nonprofits’ annual operating budgets. The Community Foundation of Teton Valley is thrilled to provide support, momentum and matching grants for donations acquired during the giving period so that these organizations can streamline their efforts and continue to offer their necessary services for years to come.
The Value of our Nonprofit Community
Teton Valley’s nonprofits provide critical services and support for our rural residents and lifestyle. We need not look far to see that these organizations have contributed greatly to create an improved landscape of infrastructure for local residents living in the shadow of the Tetons. Each one of our nonprofits champions an integral piece of the high quality of life we’ve come to know and expect in this unique locale.
Celebrating 10 Years!
As we celebrate 10 years of Tin Cup, the Community Foundation of Teton Valley honors and applauds the spirit of generosity that has become an intrinsic community value in Teton Valley. Compassion and generosity have long been woven into the fabric of this valley given the rural nature of our location and the need to lean on one another at times. It is through consistent charitable donations, unquantifiable hours of volunteerism, and the tireless efforts put forth by our nonprofits that we can readily see how pooling our resources brings us closer to the finish line as a community. This full-blown community effort is further evidenced by the fact that one in four Teton Valley households gave a median of $180 to nonprofits during last year’s Tin Cup. Don’t be left in the lurch – join this community-wide celebration of giving and generously donate to your favorite local nonprofits any time before July 21st at www.tincupchallenge.org.
