The ACT Foundation was awarded a $3,000 competitive grant to help purchase a new trailer for storage and transportation purposes. With the space it provides, props and costumes are now stored in a central location and can be taken to various venues for performances and programs. It is organized and used frequently.
You are doing such amazing work. I truly appreciate what you have created here for our community. Keep doing great things”

One thing that has limited us with our staging has been the hardship of transporting large props to the stage. On many occasions, I have used my van and had to run multiple trips to get the necessary props to the stage. I have had to tie large props to my van — asking students to ride with me holding the props so they don’t fall out. With the ACT Foundation trailer helping in our summer productions, props and students made it to the stage safely, making a successful production. Thank you! “

It was wonderful having the trailer for our Oz performance. We were able to obtain the props we needed without being required to make multiple trips to get the props where they needed to be. It also made clean-up much more efficient since we were able to simply load the trailer and go.”
