Dear Teton Valley,
In response to COVID-19 and the recommendations made through the Center for Disease Control regarding COVID-19 best practices “Community Mitigation Strategies,” the Community Foundation of Teton Valley will be closing our office to the public beginning Monday, March 16th. Staff will be working from home until April 20th, at which time we will reassess the situation. All Foundation business will continue as normal until our return to the office. Emails will be addressed and phone calls will be returned in a timely manner. Mail will be collected on a daily basis and any correspondence will be attended to.
Where possible we will change our in-person meetings and workshops to video or conference calls. Should that not be available, we will work to reschedule those meetings or workshops at a later date.
Tuesday, March 17th is our Tin Cup Kick-off Meeting and the opening of the Tin Cup Application Period. This meeting has been moved to a video conference format. At this time, there are no changes to the 2020 Annual Tin Cup Challenge. All timelines and efforts associated with the Tin Cup will move forward as planned. Should circumstances arise that necessitate changes or alterations to the Tin Cup Challenge, the Foundation will communicate those broadly to Teton Valley nonprofits and supporters.
The Community Foundation of Teton Valley will work to assist our nonprofits as best we can in these trying times. We are a close-knit family of nonprofits and leaning on each other for support will no doubt help bolster us as we move through the next few months. I am certain we will be stronger as we emerge on the other side.
Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions.
Sincerely,
Tim Adams
Executive Director
