Carrie Mowrey joins the Community Foundation of Teton Valley as the Program and Events Coordinator, putting her passion for Teton Valley and dedication to community involvement to good use. Carrie is responsible for the coordination of the annual Tin Cup Challenge, as well as the many programs the Community Foundation engages in, including: the Youth Philanthropy Program, Breakfast Club, Nonprofit Workshop Series and the “Filling the Gaps in Teton Valley” Initiative. Carrie has been involved with CFTV as a volunteer since 2012, assisting with office administration and serving as a dedicated volunteer for the past two Tin Cup Challenges. During that time she has also played a key role in developing the online Teton Valley Resource Directory, which lists the local and regional health and human services available to residents of Teton Valley. Originally from Ogden, UT, Carrie earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Women’s Studies from Weber State University. A mother of three young boys, Carrie and her husband, Tim, can be found enjoying many of the local pursuits and activities with their enthusiastic young brood. Carrie is an avid reader of non-fiction, loves the outdoors and thoroughly enjoys the company of the many amazing and talented people she’s met since first moving to the area in 2002.
