It is with deep gratitude that we thank those who gave to our year-end campaign to build a new Nonprofit Community Space within our office. The doors are ordered and plans are being made to begin in earnest the first week of February!
With many nonprofits operating out of small, or even home-based offices, finding a monthly place to hold Board meetings after 5 pm can be difficult – let alone an annual Board Retreat, or an impromptu donor meeting…
The Community Foundation of Teton Valley is excited to alleviate this undue stress and elevate local nonprofits by partitioning off part of our existing office to create this new community space for Teton Valley nonprofits – so that they always have a comfortable, available, and FREE space to focus on the work at hand.
Thanks to year-end donations, local nonprofits will have a ready space to hold necessary meetings – complete with high-speed internet, heat, air conditioning, and video conferencing capabilities!
Laura & Randy Curtis have spent countless hours volunteering for the Community Foundation, the Tin Cup Challenge, and various other nonprofits around the valley. They have been unfailing in their willingness to give time and energy to supporting our nonprofit community. Through their involvement, they have seen the need for a Nonprofit Community Space first-hand. Their enthusiasm for nonprofit work and the Teton Valley community is evidenced not only by their participation as Challengers, but also through a generous year-end gift to make this space a reality!
“We just like to support our adopted community. We are drawn to the Community Foundation because it is a well-organized entity providing valuable support and guidance to nonprofits in the valley — so each can provide services in the most effective ways possible. This allows both the provider and consumer of those services to benefit.”— Laura & Randy Curtis
