Like so many others, Nan arrived in Teton Valley for the snow and mountains. She stayed because of the community. A passionate adventurer (mostly by bike) and a philanthropist, Nan is originally from Lafayette, Louisiana and has worked in outdoor education for NOLS, Outward Bound, and other similar programs across the country.
She has also served as director of the Pugh Family Foundation whose mission is to break the cycle of poverty through education in south Louisiana. In addition to her work with the Community Foundation, she serves on the board of the Pugh Family Foundation, Teton School District 401, Teton Valley Education Foundation, and Rotary Club of Teton Valley. As an active member of the Teton Valley nonprofit community, with an understanding of the issues and needs of Teton Valley, Nan is excited to bring her experience and ability to think outside of the box to her role as a board member for the Foundation.
