Dean bought his first home in the valley in 1992 and moved here permanently in 2003 (with a hiatus in Jackson). He and his wife now live in Victor.
After 28 years of providing financial, tax, and investment advice to families and individuals, Dean sold his practice to begin a second career as a trumpet player. He can be seen playing in many area groups, crossing several genres. He hopes to be a prodigy by age 70.
Dean is also a current board member of the Idaho Falls Symphony and past board member of many musical and conservation nonprofits, including board emeritus for the Teton Regional Land Trust.
