Competitive Grants to Open

The Community Foundation of Teton Valley is pleased to announce that Competitive Grant Applications will open at 9 a.m. on Monday, January 29, 2024, with applications due by 5 p.m. on Friday, February 16, 2024. The Foundation encourages local nonprofits seeking grant funding for programs or services benefiting Teton Valley to apply. Eligible organizations include 501c3 public charities, schools, and local government entities.  While the average grant award over the last five years has been $3,500, the Community Foundation also encourages more…

Pierre’s Peddle Project Success Stories

Pierre’s Pedal Project (PPP) was awarded a $3,200 Competitive Grant to provide professional bike mechanic training to volunteers and local students. This skills-based training improves their ability to refurbish and maintain bikes and increases their potential volunteer pool, with the end goal being to keep bikes out of the landfill. The Blake Chapman Young Eagles Flight Scholarship was created by a group of individuals who wanted to give students in Teton County, ID the opportunity to learn how to fly. This scholarship provides up to $10,000 towards the cost of a Private Pilot Certificate – including instruction, flight time and books.
