Strategic Planning – $3,000 Success has come quickly at Above & Beyond the Classroom (ABC). Now in its 10th year, this fall’s participating seniors have 16 grant applications to weigh over the course of two class periods, with a total ask of nearly $14,000. Local veterinarians are not able to take in wildlife patients. Local DVM, Summer Lee Winger, sees the dilemma first-hand, that the regular veterinary clinic is not the channel for wildlife rehabilitation. “It is difficult in most cases to work on wildlife in a normal clinic setting.
