The unexpected closure of Teton Pass has significant and multifaceted impacts for the Teton Valley community. With a large percentage of local residents commuting daily over Teton Pass for work, education, and critical services, the closure increases travel, fuel, and daycare costs while affecting an already tenuous work-life balance.
