Show Your Tin Cup Spirit – Run. Give. Celebrate.

Show Your Tin Cup Spirit – Run. Give. Celebrate.

The Community Foundation of Teton Valley invites the valley to gather at Driggs City Park on Saturday, July 18, for the 19th Annual Tin Cup Challenge. One of Teton Valley’s largest annual celebrations of giving, the event brings together more than 60 nonprofits and has raised over $30.8 million during the past 18 years to strengthen organizations serving every corner of Teton Valley.

Hosted by the Community Foundation of Teton Valley, the Tin Cup Challenge reflects the Foundation’s mission to connect people, resources, and nonprofits to strengthen our entire community. Unlike traditional fundraisers that benefit a single organization, Tin Cup gifts support many nonprofits and are partially matched by Business and Community Challengers, multiplying your impact.

Whether you run, volunteer, cheer, or give, everyone is welcome and makes an impact!

Run (or Walk) for Good

  • 9:00 AM – Timed 5K/10K races
  • 9:03 AM – Family-friendly Fun Run/Walk (Free with early registration)
    • Sign up early at www.TinCupChallenge.com
    • Day-of registrations increase by $10 for both the Fun Run/Walk and competitive races. Cash-only registrations on Event Day.
    • All racers get a free Tin Cup T-shirt (while supplies last).

Stay for the Fun

After the run, enjoy:

  • Free community breakfast
  • Booths from over 60 nonprofits
  • Diaper Derby, soap hockey, folkloric dancing, and a flight simulator!
  • A petting zoo with horses, mini-horses, adoptable puppies, and more!

Dress to Impress

Support your favorite nonprofit with spirited costumes. Your organization could win the Tin Cup Spirit Award, with prizes of $200, $100, and $75. Awards begin at 10:30 AM on the Event Stage, including the Dawn Banks Award, Race Awards, and Spirit Awards.

Multiply Your Impact

Every dollar matters. Every gift counts. Give today by cash, check, stocks, or online at www.TinCupChallenge.com, and your donation will be partially matched thanks to Business & Community Challengers. The deadline to give is Friday, July 24, at 5 PM.

Engage with your community, support important causes, and have fun! You can also visit us at the Community Foundation’s Farmers Market booth in Driggs on Fridays from 9 AM to 1 PM through July 24.

According to Brian Thysell, program manager, “One of the best parts of Event Day is watching people discover nonprofits they may not have known about and meet the people behind them. Whether you’re there to race, volunteer, or enjoy breakfast with your neighbors, it’s a chance to see how many people are doing good across Teton Valley.”

For nearly two decades, the Tin Cup Challenge has been a summer tradition celebrating the nonprofits, volunteers, and donors who make Teton Valley an extraordinary place to call home. Celebrate generosity. Give locally. Accept the Challenge.
