Community Foundation Awards $85,000 in Competitive Grants to 17 Local Nonprofits
The Community Foundation of Teton Valley is pleased to announce the 17 recipients of the 2026 Competitive Grant Program, totaling $85,000 awarded to local nonprofits. Funded by the generosity of Tin Cup Challengers, these grants support organizations addressing critical community needs, including emergency financial assistance, childcare access, recreation, senior transportation, and more.
This year, the Foundation received 31 applications requesting nearly $170,000, making the selection process highly competitive. A volunteer Grant Committee thoroughly reviewed each proposal and ultimately awarded nine fully funded and eight partially funded grants. Awardees recently gathered at the Teton Valley Welcome Center to celebrate these investments in community-driven solutions.
“These grants reflect our community’s strength and generosity,” said Brian Thysell, Program Manager. “From basic needs to long-term opportunities, we’re proud to support organizations addressing the evolving needs of Teton Valley annually.”
