As we continue to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the Community Foundation of Teton Valley, we are proud to say that our programs have exceeded all expectations – providing our local nonprofits with critical, unrestricted operating funds on an annual basis and allowing them to greatly expand the reach of their programs and services throughout our community. In fact, due to our community’s overwhelming support of the Tin Cup Challenge, the Community Foundation of Teton Valley has achieved impressive national rankings when compared to the other 780 Community Foundations operating in the United States.
According to the CF Insights, a service of the Foundation Center, the Community Foundation of Teton Valley, and our affiliate, the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole, were ranked #1 in the country in 2016 for the Amount of Gifts Received per Capita. This shows that the communities nestled amongst the Tetons are some of the most generous in the nation when it comes to charitable giving, due to the innovative fundraising structure provided by the Tin Cup Challenge and Old Bill’s Run for Charities.

We were also ranked #1 in the country in 2016 for our Distribution Rate of Grants vs. our Total Assets – meaning that we are amongst the most generous grant makers in the country, annually reinvesting in our nonprofit community in a major way to ensure their success in improving the lives of our residents.
