On Tuesday, March 12th, the Community Foundation of Teton Valley’s 17th Annual Tin Cup Challenge Application Period opens with the Tin Cup Kick-Off Meeting! The Mental Health Coalition of Teton Valley was awarded a $2,500 Competitive Grant to create a Regional Resource Guide Project. Valley Adaptive Sports collaborated with Teton Valley Aquatics and Teton Valley Foundation to scholarship instructor-led swimming lessons and inclusive Ice & sled hockey. They provided 24 swimming lesson dates with 3-4 instructors per session. They also offered 12 inclusive ice and sled hockey sessions. The Teton Springs Foundation matched a $2,000 Competitive Grant from the Community Foundation for $4,000 in scholarship grant funding. The Blake Chapman Young Eagles Flight Scholarship was created by a group of individuals who wanted to give students in Teton County, ID the opportunity to learn how to fly. This scholarship provides up to $10,000 towards the cost of a Private Pilot Certificate – including instruction, flight time and books.
