Agency funds are nonprofit investment funds which offer a streamlined approach to asset management through professional oversight, investment expertise, and the advantages of a larger, diversified portfolio. The Community Foundation offers three investment options ranging from a longer-term endowed portfolio to a short-term alternative to interest bearing bank accounts or Certificates of Deposit. Agency funds can provide long-term financial stability that may be difficult to achieve independently. These funds serve as both a reliable source of operating income and a safeguard for unforeseen financial needs.
