Finding affordable child care in Teton Valley for children ages 0-5 is challenging for many families in our community. When parents aren’t able to find affordable care for their children, it is hard for them to contribute to our workforce and provide for their families. Through an Idaho Workforce Development Council Child Care Expansion Grant, Teton Valley Early Learning Collaborative will be able to expand early care and learning opportunities for over 60 children beginning late summer of 2024! The grant enabled us to move and refurbish a donated home to downtown Driggs to be a future center for early care and learning, expanding access and affordability of quality early learning programs for families in Teton Valley.
