Dear Tin Cup Donors,

I am writing to let you know how helpful and incredible the Teton High School Booster Club has been this year for the Orchestra Class at THS.
We have been planning to take a trip since September and had made some successful attempts at fundraising to offset the cost so that students would be able to travel to Utah on May 16th. We sold concessions at a basketball game, held Bake Sales, sold tickets to our MidWinter Music Festival Concert, but we just were not getting close to our goal.
I wanted my students to be able to comfortably afford the cultural experience of attending the Utah Symphony and Hale Center Theater, along with a Music Therapy Workshop, the Violin-Making School of America, the Orchestra at Temple Square rehearsal, and some other amazing experiences.
I had asked the Booster Club to help fund our tickets to attend the Utah Symphony, not totally sure if they would be able to donate $180.00 to our cause.
To my surprise, not only were they willing to do this, but they made an offer of help many times larger than my initial request. I was absolutely humbled and shocked to find out that they would be able to cover almost half of the remaining costs after we had pitched in our fundraising dollars.
It was such a relief to know that there was an organization who cares about students, their success, and growth. This organization exists in order to help provide students with opportunities that will build memories for a lifetime. It means so much to me and to the music students of Teton High School.
I hope that when considering where to put the non-profit money received from the Tin Cup challenge, that the THS Booster Club will be at the top of your list. They are an organization whose resources will be well-spent on the students in our community.
Thank you so much for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Julie Schindler
