The Community Foundation of Teton Valley is excited to announce that Competitive Grant applications will open at 9 AM on Monday, January 27, 2025. Proposals must be submitted by 5 PM on Friday, February 14, 2025. The Foundation encourages nonprofits seeking grant funding for programs or services that benefit Teton Valley to apply. Eligible organizations include 501(c)(3) public charities, schools, and local government entities.
While the average grant award has increased to $4,200, the Community Foundation encourages substantial proposals that maximize impact and reach. With $80,000 available for distribution, the Foundation’s Grant Committee will consider higher-dollar requests for exceptional projects that provide critical direction within our community. Collaboration among multiple organizations is encouraged. All grant proposals must demonstrate the applicant’s ability to positively impact a significant community need.
Bonnie Self, Executive Director of the Community Foundation of Teton Valley, highlights this program’s importance and impact: “Teton Valley would be a much different place without our nonprofit organizations. The Community Foundation is proud to support their dedicated efforts and help further their impact within our community through grants. We are grateful to the Tin Cup Business & Community Challengers and Community Foundation donors who make our annual Competitive Grant Program possible through their generous gifts.”
The Community Foundation funds numerous proposals in the arts, environment, social services, health, education, recreation, animal welfare, and civic sectors. The Foundation provides financial assistance to local organizations for strategic planning, program expenses, capital initiatives, equipment acquisitions, pilot programs, and beyond. Moreover, nonprofits are encouraged to pursue grants with emergent needs through the Foundation’s Opportunities Fund.
