Each year, the Tin Cup Challenge reminds us of the incredible power of community. It’s because of you—our neighbors, friends, and supporters—that Teton Regional Land Trust continues to protect the working lands and wild spaces that define Teton Valley.
In a time of increasing development and environmental pressures, your Tin Cup gift directly safeguards what matters most: open space, clean water, healthy wildlife populations, and the agricultural heritage of our valley. With your help, we’ve permanently protected over 12,000 acres in Teton County through partnerships with local families. This includes conservation along 29 miles of the Teton River—an essential corridor for both wildlife and clean water.

This impact stretches far beyond the numbers. Your support sustains habitat for cutthroat trout, Sandhill Cranes, moose, and migratory species like elk and mule deer. It helps keep working farms and ranches in operation. And it creates places for our community to connect with nature—like the Teton Creek Pathway, the Woods Creek Fen Outdoor Classroom, and the Greater Yellowstone Crane Festival.
Teton Valley is one of the most ecologically important places in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, and your continued support ensures we can protect it—now and for future generations.
As we gear up for Tin Cup Race Day on Saturday, July 29th at Driggs City Park, we’re filled with gratitude for the lasting impact you’ve made through your generosity. Together, we’re building a resilient, wild, and working landscape for the people and wildlife who call this valley home.
We hope we can count on you again this Tin Cup season. Your gift is more than a donation—it’s a commitment to conservation, community, and the future of Teton Valley.
