This summer marks a major milestone for the Teton Valley Foundation—20 years of community-supported music, recreation, and culture in the heart of the Tetons. What began as a grassroots idea to bring people together through shared experiences has blossomed into one of the most impactful nonprofit organizations in the region. From free summer concerts at Music on Main to year-round action on the ice at Kotler Arena, TVF continues to create spaces where neighbors connect, families gather, and the community thrives.

In 2005, a small group of passionate locals set out to bring live music to Teton Valley. That summer, the first concerts took place—simple productions with a modest crowd, but a whole lot of heart. Fast forward to today, and Music on Main has become a signature Teton Valley summer experience, drawing thousands of attendees each week to Driggs City Park for nationally touring artists, food trucks, family fun, and joyful connection under the open sky.
This year, we celebrate 20 seasons of music, memories, and momentum. More than just a concert series, Music on Main represents the power of community and the shared love of culture and the arts. It’s a place where kids spin barefoot in the grass, friends reconnect, and visitors get a taste of the vibrant spirit of Teton Valley. And thanks to the continued support of our donors, sponsors, and volunteers, it’s always been completely free.
While summer in the Tetons means dancing in the park, winter is all about gliding across the ice—and Kotler Ice Arena has become a winter hub for all things frozen and fun. Since opening, the rink has evolved into a vital community space, bringing together skaters of all ages and skill levels.

Now, we’re entering an exciting new chapter: the expansion of Kotler Arena. With increased demand for programs and a thriving user base, we’re raising funds to build new locker rooms, improve spectator space, and enhance accessibility – and most importantly, transform the arena into a year round multi use space! These upgrades will ensure that our growing ice sports programs have the room and resources they need to succeed—and that the rink continues to be a welcoming space for all.
One of the most exciting areas of growth in recent years has been our Cutthroats Youth Hockey Program. Serving skaters from ages 4 to 19, the Cutthroats offer skill development, teamwork, and the kind of mentorship that creates lifelong impact. As an official USA Hockey affiliate, our program follows the American Development Model (ADM), focusing on age-appropriate coaching that supports both performance and fun.

What started as a small group of passionate players has grown into a competitive, community-driven program that now sees participation from across the valley—and even beyond. Our youth athletes not only improve on the ice, but also gain confidence, friendships, and a sense of belonging that extends far beyond the rink.
But it’s not just the kids having fun—our adult hockey leagues are thriving, offering competitive and recreational options for men and women looking to stay active, connect with others, and enjoy the thrill of the game. These leagues have become a winter staple, creating camaraderie and lifelong friendships among players of all backgrounds.
And then there’s our budding Teton Curling Club—a recent addition that’s quickly sweeping the valley off its feet! Open to beginners and seasoned curlers alike, this program reflects our ongoing mission to offer inclusive, accessible recreation opportunities that bring people together in new and exciting ways.
As we reflect on the last two decades, one thing is clear: the impact of Teton Valley Foundation extends far beyond any single concert or event. We’re building more than rinks or stages—we’re building community.
Whether it’s a child’s first goal on the ice, a shared moment of joy during a summer concert, or the teamwork forged through volunteer shifts, TVF creates spaces where community, culture, and recreation intersect in meaningful ways. We do it through partnerships with local businesses, support from generous donors, and the incredible dedication of volunteers and staff who bring these programs to life year after year.
As we celebrate our 20th anniversary, we’re filled with gratitude—but also energy for what’s next. With your support, we’re ready to continue expanding programs, enhancing facilities, and deepening our impact across the valley.
