The Community Foundation of Teton Valley elevates lives through the power of generosity. It achieves that mission, in part, by hosting a Competitive Grant Program to award funds to our nonprofit community in the most strategic and impactful way.
Seniors in Teton High School’s Government class learn about philanthropy through lectures, exercises, and examining grant applications. They assess each project’s community impact and debate the merits of each application before meeting with up to five applicant organizations. In their final class, they determine grant awards to be presented at an assembly. Applying for a Youth Philanthropy grant helps introduce your organization to local youth and educates them about nonprofits in our community.
One of the most innovative charitable fundraisers in the nation, the Tin Cup Challenge is also one of the most successful. The event has raised millions from thousands of donors. All funds directly benefit Teton Valley’s cherished nonprofits working tirelessly to enhance our quality of life.
A long-term fund to facilitate collective impact and address critical emergent needs.
The Community Foundation of Teton Valley is honored to support students in continuing education and hold scholarship funds for community members.
