Teton Valley Aquatics was founded in 2016 to partner with the City of Driggs to build a year-round aquatics facility in Teton Valley. The Tin Cup Challenge allowed us to hire Ali, our part-time Animal Care Coordinator last year. This has allowed us to increase capacity to serve more animals and their humans. As an almost entirely volunteer run organization, having Ali as a consistent presence for the animals increases the quality and continuity of care and we are grateful to have the funds from Tin Cup to fund her position.Â

The Community Foundation’s Nonprofit Workshops provide a benchmark for best practices while creating opportunities for nonprofit leaders to network and collaborate. With an understood need for physical capacity, the Community Foundation remodeled our office to accommodate a Nonprofit Community Space for local organizations to hold board and donor meetings in January 2020. While closed in the first year of the pandemic, this space has seen over 300 meeting participants since it reopened this June.
