The Community Foundation of Teton Valley believes deeply that the well-being and prosperity of our community depends on the health and sustainability of our local nonprofits. This is why the Community Foundation offers several programs and services that help provide a solid foundation for local nonprofits to build upon.
The Tin Cup Challenge, a cornerstone program offered by the Community Foundation, is an effective, efficient annual fundraising vehicle that allows participating nonprofits more time and resources to focus on their missions in the community. Through the generous support of local donors, the Foundation offers the Tin Cup Challenge Program to local nonprofits free of charge and ensures that 100% of every designated gift is passed on to participating nonprofits.
In addition, the Community Foundation provides a bi-annual Competitive Grants Program to strategically invest in high-quality nonprofit projects and programs serving local residents. The Foundation’s Youth Philanthropy Program serves to introduce the next generation to philanthropy while providing even more financial support for local nonprofits. Finally, the Community Foundation consults with local nonprofits to offer organizational resources and professionally facilitated seminars focused on nonprofit best practices.
