Who can enter?
The contest is open to any Teton Valley resident or visitor with access to a valid email address. You must own all legal rights to submitted photos and photographs must be taken in Teton Valley. Each participant is allowed to enter up to 7 photographs.
Awards & Recognition
- Each sector winner will receive $100 Nonprofit Bucks to be designated to the nonprofit of their choice.
- Winners will be announced on Tin Cup Event Day during the Awards Ceremony.
- Winning photographs will be featured in the Community Foundation of Teton Valley’s newsletter and on our website.
Image Format & Size
Photographs must be uploaded in digital format. A photograph need not be taken with a digital camera; scans of negatives, transparencies, or photographic prints are acceptable. All digital files must be 10 megabytes or smaller, in jpeg format, and 300 dpi. Detail the nonprofits you had in mind when captioning your image. No border(s), logo(s), copyright marks, identifying marks, or any other visible references and/or marks are allowed on the image.
How to Enter your Photographs
Everyone must go to the contest home page to register and upload images.
What rights to my photograph do I retain?
You retain ownership and all rights to your photograph; however, by entering the contest, entrants grant the Community Foundation of Teton Valley permission, royalty-free, to publish submitted photos on the Community Foundation’s website and to reproduce images for outreach and promotional purposes. Any photograph reproduced will include a photographer credit as feasible. The Community Foundation of Teton Valley will not be required to pay any consideration or seek any additional approval in connection with such uses.
When will the winning photos be announced?
The top 7 selected photographers will be contacted by email and phone on Friday, July 16th. They will be invited to receive their awards in person on Saturday, July 17th at 11 AM at the Driggs City Park, where we’ll be streaming the Awards Ceremony live on Facebook and YouTube.
Who selects the winners?
Winners are selected based on community votes during the contest. Community members are allowed to vote once for each photo. The photograph with the most likes wins!
Timeline
- Submission: Beginning Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at 9 AM
- Entry deadline: All photos must be received by 5:00 pm, Wednesday, June 30, 2021
- Contest Begins: Thursday, July 1st
- Contest Ends: Thursday, July 15th
- Winners Announced: Saturday, July 17th at 11 AM at the Driggs City Plaza.
