Position Purpose:
Property Manager works to maintain multiple campuses’ furniture, fixtures, equipment, infrastructure, IT Systems, grounds, vehicles and buildings across 5 campuses and 3 operational locations of Teton Science Schools.
Qualifications:
Competency in reading, writing and math
Detail oriented and comfortable working at a consistent pace
Ability to work around/with others as well as independently
Ability to utilize work order system
Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external constituents
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform physical tasks on a daily basis including but not limited to:
Bending, crouching, kneeling, crawling, sitting, standing, standing with movement, walking, climbing stairs and ladders
Drive vehicles for up to 8 hours a day
Use both hands and exhibit fine motor skills
May require occasional overnight travel by car/bus/van/airplane
Able to sit/stand at a desk for up to 8 hours
Stretches of time outdoors in all weather, including extreme temperatures and arid conditions
Operate hand and power tools
Possible exposure to hazardous chemicals or fumes
Ability to operate hand and power tools
Perform repetitive tasks
Have normal range of vision/hearing/speech
Wear protective equipment such as work gloves, safety glasses, ear/eye protection, dust mask
May be expected to work evenings, weekends or overtime to support emergency response or departmental needs
Responsibilities:
Property Management Support
• Complete repair and request system tasks; communicate progress/ status with staff.
• Execute summer and winter common area management tasks.
• Assist with project-based activities.
• Complete recurring tasks that support operational systems such as recycling, safety checks, boilers, inspections,
elevators, pump house inspections, household services, alarm systems, etc.
• Complete tasks in the work order request system as assigned .
• Maintain a fleet through inspection, hands on and contract repairs.
• Maintain, coordinate with and train staff on recycling, janitorial and other campus systems.
• Maintain medical certification as noted above.
Focus Area – TVCS
• Create TVCS equipment inventory and refine property management schedules.
• Collaborate with Property Management Director and TVCS Administrator to create and steward the TVCS Management Calendar.
One TSS
• Engages and collaborate across TSS program areas and departments in service of the mission of TSS.
• Periodically carry the PM on-call phone.
