About Protect Our Water Jackson Hole
Protect Our Water Jackson Hole (POWJH) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to serve as a powerful advocate and catalyst for protecting and restoring the surface waters and groundwater in Teton County, Wyoming.
Job Summary
This is a full-time position.
The Advocacy Director will lead efforts to advocate for clean water policies and regulatory changes. Collaborate with agencies and partner organizations to address water quality issues. Work with legal counsel to pursue legal and administrative remedies as needed. Engage stakeholders, elected officials, and the public, and coordinate with scientists and experts on water quality programs and solutions.
Qualifications: 2-3 years of experience with environmental nonprofit or government agency and a background in environmental sciences, law, or related fields. Working knowledge of water quality regulations, along with strong communication and project management skills, and a passion for water conservation.
