Teton Valley Cares- Back to School Event ensures every child is prepared for their first day of school. On one day, in one place, families can connect with the wealth of resources available to them in the valley. From tutoring to mental health and food pantries to library services, community partners that offer services at a free or sliding scale cost are in attendance. Additionally, families have access to free health and dental check ups, free hearing and vision screening, and developmental screenings for children under five. Families can access free clothes, home items like cleaning supplies and toiletries, free haircuts, and even free bikes! The entire community is invited and families can take advantage of the resources they need.
Our volunteers ensure that the event flows, they support with screenings, translate for families, giveaway resources, and more.
