DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\nJoin fellow Directors from Noon to 1 PM on the second Wednesday of every month for the E.D. Exchange. This 1-hour exchange features an opportunity for Executive Directors to connect, question, learn, collaborate, share, support, and celebrate with each other. This monthly networking opportunity with peers allows executive directors to discuss relevant topics of the day in today’s fast-changing environment.\n\n\n\nThis month’s special guest is Kevin Bailey, CEO of the Idaho Nonprofit Center. In honor of Valentine’s Day, the topic will be “Loving Finances and Overhead.”\n\n\n\nDiscussions will include:\n\n\n\n\nHow to overcome the overhead myth\n\n\n\nHow to improve your budgeting and accounting processes for effective growth\n\n\n\nHow to effectively communicate operating costs to your constituents\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIn addition, Kevin will provide brief highlights about current Idaho legislation and the new Idaho Nonprofit Center membership structure for Teton Valley nonprofit organizations.\n\n\n\nKevin Bailey joined the Idaho Nonprofit Center in July of 2021 after serving as CEO of the United Way of Southeastern Idaho. He brings experience in both the education and social impact sectors, internationally and domestically, having worked in Uganda and Chile. Kevin has directed federal grant programs related to college access for first-generation students and community programs supporting financial stability for families immigrating to the US.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
